Onion-Jalapeño Relish




Add some tangy crunch to your tacos, with this easy to make relish.


Onion-Chili Relish
Cuisine: Mexican
1 cup
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 1 or 2 fresh jalapeños (I used 2)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  1. Cut onion lengthwise into slivers
  2. Cut jalapeños lengthwise in half remove and discard seeds
  3. Cut jalapeños in slivers or dice as I did
  4. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Let stand, covered, at room temperature 2 hours to blend flavors.
